#MEET4IMPACT is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 with the goal of transforming the business events and tourism industry by creating greater positive social impact. ​ We support destinations, associations, organizations, and leaders in defining, managing, measuring, and communicating the social impacts of their events and initiatives. ​ Our team is small, agile, and experienced, comprising employees, international consultants, and specialized partners. We value autonomy, initiative, rigor, and collaboration.

MEET4IMPACT is entering a new phase of growth and organizational development. We are developing new strategic partnerships, supporting increasingly complex projects, and expanding our presence in Quebec and internationally. We are looking for someone capable of playing a central role in managing our portfolio of impact projects, supporting the team, and steering strategic initiatives. ​

 

This role is intended for someone who enjoys connecting ideas, structuring ambitious initiatives, supporting clients through transformation processes, and actively contributing to the development of an evolving organization. This role acts as an umbrella function within the organization: it ensures that projects move forward, that the team is well supported, that priorities are clear, and that all of our actions align with our mission. ​

Your day-to-day responsibilities​

​

This role reports directly to the CEO and will work closely with various team members based in Montreal, Colombia, and Europe.​​

​

Impact Project Portfolio Management

  • Maintain an overview of ongoing projects and support initiatives

  • Identify strategic priorities, risks, synergies, and opportunities across projects

  • Ensure consistency in approaches, methodologies, and deliverables

  • Contribute to the quality and strategic relevance of projects

  • Participate in capacity planning and portfolio evolution

 

Project Management and Client Support

  • Serve as lead on certain client engagements

  • Structure work plans, timelines, and deliverables

  • Facilitate strategic workshops and multi-stakeholder discussions

  • Support clients in transformation or innovation contexts

  • Ensure a high level of quality in execution

 

Collaborative leadership and team development ​

  • Provide strategic support to senior management

  • Serve as a resource person for team members

  • Facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistency across projects

  • Facilitate internal meetings

  • Contribute to the development of a strong culture of collaboration, autonomy, and accountability

  • Represent the organization in certain strategic contexts as needed ​

 

Internal strategic operations

  • Coordinate certain internal priorities and ensure necessary follow-up

  • Maintain simple and effective tools, systems, and processes

  • Identify ways to improve our day-to-day operations

  • Support certain administrative or organizational needs

  • Ensure the smooth flow of information internally

Profile

We are looking for someone who can thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and rapidly evolving environment. ​

The ideal candidate will have strong strategic skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently on complex projects.

  • Has several years of relevant experience in project management, operations, consulting, or organizational development

  • Is self-reliant and able to take initiative

  • Is fully bilingual (French-English) and has strong written and oral communication skills in both languages

  • Has strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Is capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Is familiar with social innovation, sustainable development, and social impact

  • Has a strategic vision and understands how to link daily actions to overall objectives

  • Is comfortable with the ambiguity and gray areas inherent to the innovation sector

  • Enjoys structuring what is not yet fully defined

  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and knows how to engage diverse stakeholders

  • Communicates clearly, tactfully, and professionally

  • Is skilled at facilitating meetings, workshops, or work discussions

  • Demonstrates sound judgment, professional maturity, and critical thinking

  • Wishes to contribute to a meaningful mission
